Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
WPF is a .Net framework for creating Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs). It's programming model is ver similar to that used for web pages, e.g., it uses markup, called Xaml for extensible application markup language, to define window contents layout; and it uses C# code-behind to define program reactions in response to user actions on the GUI.
