TO DO LIST MANAGEMENT HELP

1. How to add a new application at run time?

- Go to App_Data folder and add a new xml with required fields ( can copy an existing template and change the fields as required)

- Start the application and click on ToDoLists

- Select the new template and click 'Create Application' 

This will create a new database table, create a new controller, create a new 'LINQ to SQL' dbml file.

2. How to use the new application?

- Right click on the controller folder:  Add > existing item > Controllers> 'NewApplication'Controller.cs
- Right click on the Model folder: Add> existing item >Models> 'NewApplication'.dbml

(Adding the controller and model to the project is a one time activity. Any subsequent changes made to the controller and dbml will not require the above steps)

Run the application again > select new application > use application

3. What is available?

- Dynamic code generation needed for the list view has been done.
- Dynamic code generation needed for displaying create view has been done

(this may be changed as per the requirement)

4. what Needs to be added(not available)?

- code for Edit, Details, Delete, saving new records to database, sorting etc

(dynamic generation code is available under Models > ToDoModel)
