  1. The Syllabus describes topics to be covered, reading material for you to digest before coming to class, and due dates for the assigned projects.
  2. OCD Problems
  3. Project #1, #2 Uses
  4. For anyone who is still struggling to get Project #1 together, I've put a prototype in cse681/code/CodeGenPrototype.
  5. Another format for Uses
  6. Evaluating code projects - Cyclomatic Complexity, Size, Manual and Maintenance Pages, demonstration of requirements
  7. compile and run batch files
  8. Project #3 - Due 18 October 2005, Project #4 - Due 15 November 2005, Pluggable Remote Executor
  9. Win32 Sockets Presentation
  10. Win32 Sockets Code Demonstration
  11. .Net Sockets Presentation
  12. .Net TCPClient and TCPServer classes
  13. .Net Sockets Code Demonstration
  14. Message Framing with sockets
  15. Message Framing, using threads and queues
  16. Base64Encoding
  17. .Net Remoting Presentation
  18. Basic Remoting Demo
  19. Remoting Demo with Pass-by-Value Call
  20. Remoting Demo with Pass-by-Reference Call
  21. Explaination of PBR File Transfer
  22. Remoting Demo - PBR File Transfer
  23. Lecture #5 folder contains a page of links to presentations and code discussed in this class. The Lecture folders will occasionally hold physical files of interest as well. Usually, however, all the materials of interest to the class are in the presentations and code folders. The contents of these folders will grow as you progress through the course.
