Dr. Fawcett,
Below is my blurb and pic for your site (great idea and proud to be on the list) work it as you see fit...

Stephen C. Wilson
MSCE 2000
Syracuse University

With nearly fifteen years under the belt of my professional career I still count courses taken under the direction of Jim Fawcett while working full time as personal highlights; both from the perspective of advanced learning but also from the perspective of real world applicability.

Syracuse University courses like Software Studio, OOD and thesis work on distributed component object modelling under Dr. Fawcett's energetic and experienced direction helped to round out my undergraduate degree of electrical engineering from Renselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1991.

In December 2002 I was promoted to Program Manager, Electronic Vital Signs for Welch Allyn, Inc and reside in Syracuse with my wonderful wife Wendy and three beautiful bouncing baby boys - Ryan, Aaron and Ethan (not shown).

Even though DCOM is now .NET and technologies change over night I still fondly remember Jeetendra beating Dr. Fawcett in ping pong after our completing Design Patterns over the summer of 2000... killer serve! ;-)

Sincerely yours,
Steve

Hi Steve:

Hope all is well with you and yours, and you are still enjoying the WA experience. I have two requests actually. First:

I've put up a website for my classes that includes a page about graduates, with digital photos and a bio paragraph. I would like to have one for you if you have the time. You can check out what's there at this link http://www.ecs.syr.edu/faculty/fawcett/handouts/webpages/graduates.htm. Second:

An excellent former student is applying for some of the WA openings, and I would like to supply an email recommendation, but can find no email link on the WA site. Do you have the email of an appropriate HR person?

Thanks and
Regards, Jim Fawcett
