Dr. Fawcett,

Sorry for the late response. I forwarded your request to the SU alumni email list we have here at Microsoft. I hope you hear back from many of them.

Here's a short paragraph on me:
After completing my MS in Computer Science from SU in Dec 99, I joined Microsoft Corp. to work for the Windows Security team. My team is responsible for most of the security features in Windows like Authorization, Authentication, Public Key Infrastructure, Credentials Management and the like. Over the past few years I have had the opportunity to work on many cool security technologies like CryptoAPIs, Certificate Server, Authenticode, SMIME and Authorization to name a few along with many other Windows technologies. I deal with software written in C, C++, C#, perl, VT, batch scripts and a host of other custom tools. Many of the good habits I learnt through Dr. Fawcett's software engineering courses, I apply to almost all aspects of my daily work in varying degrees.

Do write a few lines about your experience with .Net so far when you find time. I would really like to know your opinion on it.

Regards,
Shreeniwas.

Hi Everyone:

I’m starting a web page devoted to former students on my class site.  I would love to get a digital photo and a paragraph about what you are currently doing to put there.  You can view the start I’ve made by clicking on the link below and following it to a Graduates link on my home page.

I’ve lost most of my email address collection due to a computer meltdown.  If you know any other SU grads at work or elsewhere, would you forward this message?  I’ve lost touch with too many of you and would love to hear how you are doing.

Happy New Year!

Regards, Jim Fawcett
