Content:

This lecture is concerned with Asynchronous Systems and Project #5.
  1. The Syllabus describes topics to be covered, reading material for you to digest before coming to class, and due dates for the assigned projects.
  2. WCF Communication Prototype - helper for Pr#4
  3. Another interesting way of implementing message passing:

    ADAM-Wrapper-Prototype, updated with Comm component
All message handlers, e.g., virtually all parts, inherit from AWrapper, except for UIs that already inherit implementation from Form. UIs need to create a message handler that does inherit from AWrapper.

  4. Asynchronous Systems
  5. Asynchronous Calls Demo
  6. Peer-to-Peer Prototype
Illustrates use of bilateral remoting with SingleCall activation to establish Peer-To-Peer communication.
  7. Software Architecture Taxonomy
  8. Software Design
  9. Software Structure Research - motivation for Pr #5
  10. Project #5
  11. "chalk talk" for Project #5

  12. Helpers for Project #5

Riddhiman Ghosh - Best Final Reports
Saket Satta - Best Final Reports

    Project Center Use Cases
  13. Message-Passing Systems Presentation
  14. Questions about Project #5 ?
  15. Interception Presentation
  16. Lecture #12 folder contains a page of links to presentations and code discussed in this class. The Lecture folders will occasionally hold physical files of interest as well. Usually, however, all the materials of interest to the class are in the presentations and code folders. The contents of these folders will grow as you progress through the course.
