• Our paper titled "Autonomous Footstep Counting and Traveled Distance Calculation by Mobile Devices Incorporating Camera and Accelerometer Data" has been accepted for publication in the IEEE Sensors Journal.

 

• 11th International Conference on Distributed Smart Cameras (ICDSC 2017) was held at Stanford University, CA, USA between Sept. 5 and Sept. 7, 2017.

• Dr. Velipasalar and two of her former Ph.D. students have been granted a U.S. patent on automatic detection by a wearable camera.
